If there is one thing he has repeatedly shown during both terms and in between, its his adoration for authoritarians and dictators... Viktor Orbán (Hungary), Erdogan (Turkiye), Xi Jinping (China) for example. The Fat Orange Turd loves that idea that he should be an all-powerful King without that annoying Constitution or tthose pesky laws and judges to get in the way of his royal proclamations.

I warned way back during his first term, that if he got elected for a second term, that he would learn from his first term mistakes and set about systematically removing all those guardrails that blocked him the first time ariound. I was universally mocked by the right wing posters and the sycophants here as being an alarmist. Now, we are seeing the results, and it seems I wasn't far from the truth.
