I was in middle school when Clinton was president, the only reason we 14-15-year olds even knew about him was that scandal with Monica Levinsky. Also I think he was convicted of rape at some point? Either way, why should I care about a random president from 25 years back? Send him to jail like the other people who abused girls at the island.

All in all this just seems really embarrassing to the trumpkins. They've always been denying, handwaving, and deflecting every time their Führer did or said something he shouldn't have, but they seem to be really flailing now.

I still recall people trying the "Clinton will take a hit from the Epstein Files, too" line of attempted dissuasion. Admittedly, that has given me pause because of how dumb it was and is. Also, because the very fact that they were trying it was as good as admitting that they just don't care about the principles of Law and Justice, just how they can virtue signal with them.

I hold no particular loyalty to Clinton, regardless. I did not support the attempt to remove him over Monica Lewinsky, just like I have not supported any efforts to remove Trump over his numerous infidelities. Those things speak to character, yes, but not how well they actually do the job of President. Clinton did a reasonable job as President, though, while Trump's rather consistently shown himself to be extremely unfit for the job. Had the Monica Lewinsky thing reached court, especially once he was no longer President, I would have been disappointed if it wasn't kept fair and aboveboard, just like I was rather disappointed when Trump's treatment has been very blatantly not fair and aboveboard - because of lots of Republicans putting their thumbs on the scales to try to help him get away with crimes. That whole aiding and abetting pretty much all the worst crimes around is not something that people who actually care about the noble principles at hand do.

I'd like to know how all his gold crap is fixed to the structure of the White House, I know it looks like it's held on with double sided sticky pads but if it's actually attached by fixings drilled into, for example, the marble fireplace in the Oval Office then that's an act of vandalism on a publicly owned item of historic and cultural significance that should see his fat orange arse in prison (yes, I know, the latest in a very long list of reasons)

It's almost as though the FBI is concentrating on trying to pretend that people other than Trump were far more important. And a smear campaign.

Yep. I would put money on those boxes being empty. And not just because I don't think he could manage the weight, but because they seemed to have no heft to them.

I mean, what was that stunt anyway? Someone gives a stack of pizza boxes to Trump, and he starts on his line over there, and he walks ten yards and hands the boxes to the firefighters on parade over here. And cut. You wouldn't waste fresh pizzas on a bunch of retakes of that.
