trump pushing for nfl team washington commanders to name their stadium after him

i always found trump's association with sports to be fairly interesting. he doesn't appear to be a die hard fan of any of them, but he's frequently been involved with promotion and ownership and seems to enjoy the social status it brings. i think he's association with wwe and ufc and the characters he involved himself with were a big part of why he won the election.

There's not necessarily any deceit involved. Prices are up, belts are tight and they're not really pretending otherwise. Walmart are really just offering a bundle that is intended to feel adequate at a budget price. If anyone decides to make political capital out of it by falsely claiming it's the same for less then more fool them.

I think it's a great way for the NFL to honor him for destroying their potential competitor, the United States Football League, 40 years ago.
