Given that the census counts all persons, NOT just all citizens, for purposes of determining the number of House seats, and the disproportionate number of non-citizens in New England, there are technically a negative number of Republicans elected, as seats were taken from red parts of the country

This. And it will waste a lot of public money (even though they will claim it's all privately funded), there will also be corruption involved, you can bet non-trivial amounts will wind up in the pockets of Trump, his family and cronies, and those who contribute to the project will be expecting favours in return.

Seems it is intended as a triumphal arch though, as monuments go, that's a rather, what's the word... celebratory choice for the entrance to Arlington cemetery. I suppose if done
tastefully, a solemn memorial there could work, somewhat in the vein of the Menin Gate in Belgium. Victory/Lady Liberty/Tinkerbell needs to look at least a bit serious and sad though.

I keep asking maga weirdoes in the MSN forums where I can go to get paid for protesting, but no one yet has given me an answer.

After all, even though I'm a registered republican, I've been to many of the allegedly Soros funded protest, and I could sure use the money.

BTW, the Soros foundation does not directly fund protest. They merely distribute money to charity organizations, and some do organize protest, but it's by the volunteers who work there and not the organizations themselves.


ETA: I know because I called the foundation up and asked where the hell my money was, and that's how they explained it to me.

That's like arguing traditional efforts to arrest bank robbers and jail them hasn't stopped bank robberies, so it's now necessary to just execute them random people entering or leaving the bank out of hand, and see if that works.
