The reason I ask where the odds come from is that they make no sense. No bookie in the world would offer these because they would get taken to the cleaners by anyone who understands the math behind it. So I am skeptical that these are being offered anywhere where someone can actually bet money on them.

Put another way, if I actually knew of a reputable book offering these numbers, I would be betting the max even if that meant I had to take money out of my retirement savings because its a better investment than the stock market.

I think in the US, the group most likely to be targeted is the ones our dear leader so often denigrates as having a "low IQ," which is rapidly becoming the new code word for black - or maybe black and brown both. Americans like to pride themselves on not being racist, but the veneer is thin; racial stereotypes flourish, the vile jokes and knowing nods await their opportunity, waiting to be tapped by the enterprising demagogue. And here comes one now, blathering blatant lies, phony wars, innumeracy that would flunk a first grader, his starry eyed acolytes bowing town to diaper droppings wrapped in flags.

What ought to be the basic, default standard of behavior is condemned as "DEI." The very word "diversity" is being expunged from the government lexicon, the Supreme Court has ruled that skin-color profiling is just fine, and scientific sensibility itself is out of favor. Reason is on the ropes, and the referee denies there ever was a whistle. I hope I'm just a terrible pessimist, but I think tolerance and inclusion are still mostly a willful act, which many people would be happy to give up, given an excuse, and we are faced with a cadre of crazies eager and ready to pick up the pallet of othernesses, and mix up a new variant to channel our need to hate and blame away from them.

One hates having once again to hark back to prior times in other places, but the German experience of such recent times ought to remind us how quickly an irrational undercurrent of lingering suspicion of otherness can turn into nonsensical pseudo-science, to paranoid blame, to mass exclusion, exile and genocide. Of course it can't happen here, it never happens here, never quite the same, never exactly, and as always the apologists in the wings will say, "see, it's not the same thing this time."
 
What's a doctor to do when during the Presidential medical checkup they think he has dementia?
The normal course would be additional testing - which the Trump team will decline, and never talk about the suggestion.
And they will tell the next doctor that any mental diagnosis is unwanted.

This is not Starfleet where the Chief Medical Officer can have the Captain declared unfit for duty.

Don't forget back in 2019, when Trump was speaking to the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas and referred to Netanyahu as "your Prime Minister".
Even if he isn't consciously aware of it, on some level he seems to think that Jews aren't "real Americans". Maybe something like how some people thought JFK would be taking orders from the Pope.

...and surely, it would be downright professional fraud for his doctors to certify a 79-year-old guy with visibly swollen ankles 'has the heart of someone 14-years younger'. There is really no way someone of his build, dietary habits and stressful job has the relatively healthy heart of a fit 65-year-old.

Race hate is a recognised mental health issue and diagnostic, it can be a sign of mental illness. It's not as if the USA is like 1930's Germany where everyone conforms to a type, except for the 'outsiders'. The USA is literally hundreds of ethnicities living cheek by jowl. Trumps sees the world as some kind of a cartoon and he's the central character. Plus he knows he is a criminal so he has a pathological couldn't-care-less attitude to social norms, given he is an outlaw, with an anti-social, 'What are you gonna do about it?' attitude, who would be in prison were it not for his station as POTUS.
