At the President’s direction, the Department of War is establishing a new counter-narcotics Joint Task Force in the @SOUTHCOM area of responsibility to crush the cartels, stop the poison, and keep America safe. The message is clear: if you traffic drugs toward our shores, we will stop you cold.
 
Once the US economy is in the trash and China has taken Taiwan, Trump will have Xi exactly where he wants him.

Sidenote: Xi is probably going to get replaced in the not too distant future - if that happens, no doubt it will be because of trump ...

But she has no steel toecapped boots and she isn't trying to ◊◊◊◊ Trump over. She's trying to overthrow a dictator in her own country and Trump, who is the enemy of her enemy, might be amenable to wading in on her side.

In these days, science has to be subservient to politics, so I expect subsidies will be withheld from universities that do teach Trump's special mathematics.

You have to appease the bullies if you don't have the power to confront them. When Denmark was invaded by Germany in 1940, the government decided to work with the Germans to avoid the worst. It worked, and Denmark came out of the second world war without too much damage. Today, there are still people who think it would have been better to have Denmark honourably destroyed in a week of resistance.
