(The whole 'got him water' was about Trump ordering certain reservoirs to be opened up to bring water to various areas of California, supposedly to deal with their fires. Problem is, the flow of the water wasn't to the areas that needed water most, so it was largely wasted.)

Also of note is that not only was it largely irrelevant to the problem, the flow of water was being held for later, actually efficient usage, so Trump is pointedly taking credit for screwing over a lot of citizens. Likely primarily Republican citizens, no less, with the direct harm.

Uh huh. You're a super luxury store. Fine. You're Prada. And you've been moaning about how terrible it is that nobody buys your stuff. They buy cheaper brands from elsewhere, maybe made in China, or they make their own things. But anyway, now you're boasting about how you get to dictate how much they have to pay if they want your luxury stuff. The stuff that you can't sell. Okay so now you're going to do what, raise your prices? When the world already doesn't buy your stuff?

I guess this analogy makes sense to Trump somehow, but it's crazy nonsense from where I'm sitting.

Now reports the Trump made his Alcatraz comments after wathcing Clint Eastwood's Escape From Alcatraz on a Florida RV station. Bad thing is I think this is true. Trump seems totally obssesed with Mass Media and cannot see beyond it. He has ttally lost touch with reality.
