Trump's Second Term

Businessman and "Shark Tank" star Kevin O'Leary confirmed that President-elect Donald Trump is hosting discussions at Mar-a-Lago about integrating Canada into the United States.

O'Leary told Fox News he participated in the discussions at Mar-a-Lago after Trump suggested on Truth Social that Canada would become the "51st state."

O'Leary did not say he participated in discussions at Mar-a-Lago, but only that he "would love to".

From what I understand, he's not pushing for a "51s state" type take-over. He wants an economic union with the same currency, open northern border, etc. But, in a poll asking Canadians if they want to be the 51st state, only 13% said yes while 82% said no. So Canada is only 13% crazy.

Can I just say,

Keep my Country's name out you mother ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ mouths!!

◊◊◊◊ MAGA and O'Leary deserves a throat punch...

The rest of you guys are cool though ! haha

That O'Leary would be pro-Trump doesn't surprise me as he's a billionaire. After all, he wants those tax cuts!

I have a lot of Canadian relatives that live in and around Vancouver BC. I don't know a single Canadian who wants to be part of the US.

He's like Trump in that he pretends to be far richer than he actually is. I don't think his net worth is even half a billion. Still a rich ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ though so your point stands.

I can tell you this Canadian sure doesn't.

I have been offered jobs at significant raises that would require me to move to the US and I've never given any of them a moment's thought. There are a lot of good Americans, don't get me wrong, but every time I travel there and have to talk to a gas station cashier through bulletproof glass I remember that its a very sick society that has all but broken down.

It will happen here too. We're just a couple decades behind. The maple MAGAs are coming.

Please don't let that happen, cousins. We love you the way you are now.

Well, we tried back in 1813....
And ,yeah, I got the 2072 reference..."Our boys pacify recently annexed Canada".
I had been getting the strong impression that some of Disaster Donny's younger advisors are getting their inspirations from online fantasy games. Muskrat is a gamer too. Do they think this is all a game?? Donny, of course, is so out of it he thinks it's real.

Trump on Trudeau
Has he considered that if Canada was partitioned into states and given electoral votes, the Republicans would probably never win another election, ever? Or does he imagine Mexico, Panama, Greenland, and Canada to be colonies without rights?

Oh, wait, Orange Hitler Wannabe doesn't plan for there to be more elections, does he. Edit: Unless they are elections where you can vote only for him, submitting their votes with a 1000 word essay on how he is the bestest Führer-President ever.

Donald on Greenland visit by Jr.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrum
I am hearing that the people of Greenland are "MAGA.” My son, Don Jr, and various representatives, will be traveling there to visit some of the most magnificent areas and sights. Greenland is an incredible place, and the people will benefit tremendously if, and when, it becomes part of our Nation. We will protect it, and cherish it, from a very vicious outside World. MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!

Amusingly, the newly expanded airport at Nuuk is unusable due to icy conditions (the flight from Denmark has had to return twice), so fredo will probably have to go to Kangerlussuaq and hitch a ride on a domest flight down to Nuuk.

Only under certain conditions, none of which Jack Smith has committed:

"The premise of citizenship loss among natural-born citizens is based on the rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court. The apex court has firmly established that natural-born citizens cannot lose their nationality unless they make an explicit and voluntary decision to renounce it. Notably, this relinquishment has to be intentional; a mere accident cannot strip one of their citizenship.

However, certain actions and behaviors are deemed inconsistent with the role of a U.S. citizen, which may result in the loss of nationality. These include:

  • Oath of allegiance to a foreign country: Taking an oath of loyalty to a foreign country, mainly if the individual is an adult and the oath is not taken under duress, may result in the loss of U.S. citizenship.
  • Service in the foreign military: A natural-born citizen serving as an officer in a foreign military engaged in hostilities against the U.S. or serving in any military force of a foreign country as a commissioned or non-commissioned officer may lose their citizenship.
  • Working for a foreign government: If a natural-born citizen accepts, serves in, or performs duties related to specific positions or offices in the government of a foreign country, they may lose their U.S. citizenship. This applies mainly if the individual is 18 and the role requires an oath of allegiance to the foreign government.
  • Renunciation of citizenship: An explicit renunciation of U.S. citizenship before a U.S. diplomatic or consular officer in a foreign country can result in the loss of citizenship. This takes place through a formal procedure defined by law, which involves a series of steps, including a formal statement of renunciation, an interview with a consular officer, and signing an oath of renunciation. Once this process is complete, the individual’s U.S. citizenship is officially renounced."

While I always appreciate the kind of response that provides information and links, the fact that anyone spends any time at all thoughtfully and factually responding to the utter ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ vacuous nonsense that trump regularly vomits into the public space is dismaying.

He hasn't put any rational thought into his assertion about Smith's citizenship. He just feels aggrieved and blurts out the some semi-random ridiculous punishment, in this case keeping with his general theme of expelling people. What he has considered is the fact that his words will irritate his opponents and delight his supporters, which his entire schtick. You can be sure that magaworld is not spending a single minute checking the legalities of whether Smith can be stripped of citizenship or not. They're just laughing and cheering. In the meantime, you and I are simultaneously wasting our time on, and being worn down by, his idiocy. /sigh
