Musk and Trump have a long history of saving money by just not paying for what they've received - why not run a country that way?
Rand Paul
@RandPaul
The Speaker of the House need not be a member of Congress...
Nothing would disrupt the swamp more than electing Elon Musk . . . think about it ... nothing's impossible. (not to mention the joy at seeing the collective establishment, aka 'uniparty,' lose their ever-lovin' minds)
If he did end pork barrel politics then inside of six months he'd be begging for change on Eamon deValera bridge.You should take more notice of him
Apparently he's running things now.
He's getting rid of politicians.

I don't think Trump will have unfriendly reporters at press conferences.I would like to see a reporter at a Trump press conference ask him a question, then after he answers ask if President Musk approved of whatever his answer was. Maybe refer to Trump as Vice President too, he insults world leaders and pretty much everyone so I think this is all fair game now.
I recall that Junior has floated the idea of Trump friendly only pressers. You know, Fox, Onan, Newsmax, Epoch Times . . .I don't think Trump will have unfriendly reporters at press conferences.
best case scenarioTrump doesn't actually have to do anything that he's promised or threatened. For example, it's enough for him to announce that he's deported a few tens of thousands of ethnic undesirables this week, and his horde will be pleased. Tariffs? He already imposed 'em! Years ago! Prices'll be better in two weeks! Muh!
A bot can handle that kinda government, leaving him & his critters free to get ahead with the embezzlement and extortion.

Trump has interfered in the latest US government funding round. And, as usual, made things a lot worse. And he is not even president yet.
