Trump's Second Term

trump claims there was no inflation during his presidency, none for the first two years of biden's, then a lot of inflation. and then talks about how how the us is subsidizing canada and mexico and that tariffs will level the playing field and tariffs cost americans nothing and stop wars and illegal immigrants from canada.

Ugh. I really, really did not want to need to pay attention to how insane the things that Trump proclaims are, again.

**** all the Trump voters for putting us into this nightmare for the country, yet again.

Not even tangentially impinging on reality any more.

He said a lot of demented things in that interview.

"Q:Do you commit to releasing your medical records?
T: Sure. I do it all the time. I think I've released four of them.
Q: Not just a letter, your full medical report?
T: Yeah, I would. I think anybody should. According to all the reports, I don't want to--is this a"

In two weeks, no doubt.

He also again accused the J6 Committee of destroying its records (without evidence) and that all of them "should go to jail". He says he'll also pardon the J6 rioters on "day one".

Kash Patel, his choice to lead the FBI, listed 60 people he thinks are part of the "deep state" including Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Bill Barr and Christopher Wray. Asked if he'll direct Patel to investigate them, Trump said "no", but that Patel "will do what he thinks is right." When asked if he thinks that would be right, Trump said that it would be an "obligation" if he think these politicians are corrupt and have committed crimes. The irony burns.

Buckle up. In fact I suggest a 4-point harnesses, a crash helmet, and an air bag.

Who knew? We gave all our power to corporations. And now our political power is about the same as those who lived under communism. But we still get to pick our sex partners, brand of car and flavor of ice cream.

It would also involve a change to the constitution, but hey Trump has always reneged on contracts so why should the constitution be any different?

How do we define treason when the President is about to do treason and that in fact is our actual policy? We can sell off our secrets too, deposit bitcoin to Trump as payment.

Trump said he thinks "somebody has to find out" if there is a link between autism and childhood vaccines.

We already know.

Birthright citizenship stems from the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution, which states that "all persons born" in the United States "are citizens of the United States".

"We're going to have to get it changed," Trump said. "We'll maybe have to go back to the people. But we have to end it."

Trump will just rename the US into the Shmunited Shmates of America, and then can kick out everyone who's face he doesn't like.

First, by differentiating the colloquial and dictionary meanings from the current legal meaning in the US.

It was with decent cause that treason was defined narrowly in the US for legal purposes, but that in no way negates the colloquial and dictionary meanings, after all. Trump has committed treason and is promising to commit treason. That such is not directly prosecutable as treason - even less so after the Supreme Court radical right winger's treasonous decision to put Trump even more above the law, is only relevant to the legal sense.

Interesting headline in a BBC article:

While the latter is expected, the former (while he has mentioned it before) would be a major change for the US.
How far back does this negation of birthright citizenship extend? For example, if your grandfather was an illegal immigrant, and your father and then you were born in the USA, are you a US citizen? Or more importantly, are you liable for deportation under Trump's plan?

I understand they are looking to adapting the new policing guide:

LOL.

But my question is to Trump in particular. His grandfather was an illegal German immigrant to the USA. So if the Trump Deportation rule is applied retrospectively, Trump is not a "natural born US citizen" and is therefore unqualified to hold the position of President.

Trump's plan to end birthright citizenship guaranteed by the 14th Amendment means only one of his children, Tiffany, would be a citizen. Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric were all born before Ivana became a citizen and Barron was born before Melania became a citizen.
