If the mullahs want to say they won, let them. Very few people in Iran will believe it.

"God Bless Iran" was IMO a rather astute thing to say. It's possible MAGA won't like it, but on r/conservative a lot of them were voicing support for the Iranian people. And confirming/updating my own experience of friendly people, goodwill to the U.S. and great food.

I stumbled on a Buzzfeed article featuring a bunch of alleged MAGA tweets or whatever about "That's it, I'm done, I regret voting for Trump!" While some might be saying it, I found nothing of the sort on the conservative subreddit. I think maybe Buzzfeed fell for some bots.

Iran was our military ally in the early 2000s. U.S. troops were on the ground in Iran in 2004, helping with the Bam earthquake relief.

ETA: I suspect he's playing up the number 12 for a reason. If so - and I don't know how this is even possible - he seems to be getting decent advice. Of course the whole thing could blow up in our faces. If, for example, he suggested the shah's son as an interim leader if regime change happens.

Only the Fake News would say anything different in order to try and demean, as much as possible — And even they say they were “pretty well destroyed!” Working especially hard on this falsehood is Allison Cooper of Fake News CNN, Dumb Brian L. Roberts, Chairman of “Con”cast, Jonny Karl of ABC Fake News, and always, the Losers of, again, Concast’s NBC Fake News. It never ends with the sleazebags in the Media, and that’s why their Ratings are at an ALL TIME LOW — ZERO CREDIBILITY!
