The IAEA says Iran has reached at least 60%, not US intelligence.

That means if they wanted to, they could make enough 90% uranium in about 2 weeks, using all the centrifuges they had pre-war.

They made say 270 kg of 60%, which is enough for 7 nukes if enriched further.

The nukes at Hiroshima and Nagasaki had .7 grams each of HEU, 15 kton bombs

Why is 60% not a problem for you regardless? Are you under the impression that the IAEA approves of that degree of enrichment, for any peaceful application?

What motivates you to give Iran the benefit of the doubt, in questions of excessive uranium enrichment?
 
Im not saying I fully support Israel's attacks, Im just trying to get a handle on the science and how close they actually were to making a nuke.

I won't get a Nobel Peace Prize for this, I won't get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between India and Pakistan, I won't get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between Serbia and Kosovo, I won't get a Nobel Peace Prize for keeping Peace between Egypt and Ethiopia (A massive Ethiopian built dam, stupidly financed by the United States of America, substantially reduces the water flowing into The Nile River), and I won't get a Nobel Peace Prize for doing the Abraham Accords in the Middle East which, if all goes well, will be loaded to the brim with additional Countries signing on, and will unify the Middle East for the first time in "The Ages!"

No, I won't get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that's all that matters to me!

What ? Hiroshima and Nagasaki had very different bombs. Hiroshima was gun type Uranium bomb with 64kg of HEU. Nagasaki was implosion type Plutonium bomb and contained 6.2kg of Plutonium. It also used some depleted uranium as a tamper.

Huh, guess I read wrong. But they were reletively small nukes compared to what we got today.
