But why would he need to resort to this kind of insane bs? All this stupidity he's been spewing just makes him look even more mentally unstable. I don't see the advantage for him in it. And that's what worries me: he does think there's something in it for him because that is his sole motive for everything he does.

Easier to simply refuse passage to US shipping. The canal is busy. So ships have to "book a slot" in advance to go through. Refuse to accept US ships on the list. Easy solution, everyone else wins.

It's a distraction from something else. He doesn't know it though. His team just wind him up and send him out to "be mad King Trump" at these public events. Focus is on Trump's lunacy, not behind the curtain.

Watters has said some really stupid and crazy crap, but the sheer arrogance of this takes the prize.
 
I see Trump is again blaming the Democratic governor of California for fire. Next he's going to blame him for water.

I don't think so. I think it's just more evidence that he's mentally unstable.
 
What does Trump have to say to convince the Republicans he's batcrap crazy?! Panama, Greenland, Canada. It'll be bloody Russia next.

I think he thinks it makes him look more macho to his brain dead hard core followersl he might be right.
Some of his defenders are saying he is just suing the crazy man tactic: Make yourself look crazy to scare you opponents into making a deal.
Problem is that seems not to be working in this case.
