Trump's Second Term

Reopening a closed mine of any type requires meeting or exceeding safety standards in everything. If there are any that cannot be met it's done.

All grandfather clauses the operation had enjoyed before the closing are gone. The sheer costs of that are enormous.
Then toss in coal is not in demand as before making profit speculation a real thing.
If you dig it who will buy it?

Steel industry is in shambles, power plants also shuttered and need serious updates to reopen. Maybe to convert coal to gas for current operations? They already have a steady supply coming in.

Maybe fearless leader envisions steam powered zepplins providing luxury travel for the rich in a dementia induced fever dream but a reality is those mines closed for safety and not profitable.

Does anyone actually in the coal industry fall for this crap? They still have a few power plants out there using it somewhere, but who would use increased product?
Well they could take another leaf out of Nazi Germany's book and build synthetic oil plants, except that would upset the oil industry.

A nice short video that explains the economic disaster Trump's immigration policy will lead to, and the damage that will already have been done even if his successor reverses it.

Trump dropped tarrif rates on Switzerland after being presented with a Rolex and a personalised gold bar. Anyone else and I'd be shocked....
I'm sure that the GOP are about to do something about clear corruption any moment now. I just wonder if it will be before the cash from that nice Nigerian Prince will clear into my bank account.

Did I really hear that Mike ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ traitorous Johnson said that he was concerned by Bondi looking at the Epstein files search history for the representatives?

Out of curiosity, how many of you believe that Trump is trying to prevent the opening of the Gordie Howe Bridge because of money funneled to him from the Moroun family?
I've given up on trying to find rhyme or reason to the things he does. Remember, he tore down a third of the White House for a ballroom that he now seems to have forgotten about as he wants a massive stadium instead. So he had a large part of one of the most iconic buildings in America torn down for a vanity project that he now seems to have decided he doesn't want after all. That's the kind of ruler the USA has right now.
