Well, the fact he didn't let the statue go before getting paid in full indicates he may have a very good idea of what to expect: He expected to be swindled if he trusted Trump an inch.

It is of course completely beyond parody that the G20 leaders' summit will be hosted at a Trump-owned venue, and will greet its guests with a giant gold statue of the out-of-control egomaniac himself.

The statue wasn't commissioned by TACO, but by a bunch of other scammers trying to bribe him.

So, Trump is now allowing the nuclear weapons treaty to lapse.

Sometimes I wonder whether he has realized he will die soon and is actively trying burn the world as he goes out, just out of spite.

As far as he's concerned, when he dies the world does end.

On the other hand, a great many people think the fevered speed on which Trump is trying to get things done show an obsession with trying to cement his place in history.....which would imply he knows he does not have that long to live. Since none of us can get inside the insanity that is Trump's brain, you can argue either side of this.
IMHO he has already cemented his place in US History ....tying with James Buchanan as the worst President ever. And he might beat out Buchanan yet.
