Ehh... Even if Trump and his enablers were handily defeated, as they really should have been, I don't believe that we'd be there now. We'd just have to endure a heck of a lot of whining about Harris not being perfect in every possible way and how Trump would have been better, just like we faced with Biden. Nevermind that by every reasonable objective measure, the country would be dramatically better than it is or would be under Trump and anyone not in political lala land would know that. Still, their bad faith whining would be so very much more tolerable than the bad faith mess that they've created.

I think it's quite clear people had enough of liberals .. otherwise Trump wouldn't win by such margin. People just hoped Trump wont be that bad.
And there is still very little opposition. Who stands against Trump ? Who is Democratic leader ? Where is Kamala ? Can we at least get non-PC Newsom tweet ?
Sure, Democrats will most likely win midterms in a landslide .. but only because Trump is this bad. Mediasphere is a battlefield as well. You have to fight for it every day. So far democrats greatly suck at that.

Not going to argue with Democrats sucking at that, though there is certainly more to the story in a bunch of ways.
