The US has a battery of systems that could detect tests however they were being conducted, so if he is telling the media this why not just reveal the evidence? The answer is of course that this is just another example of Trump's senile ramblings.

Make sense, but of course since Trump and co think SNAP only goes to inner city 'welfare queens' they are happy to turn the screws on poor hungry people most of whom are in Red states.

Not sure it matters. If you have zero on your SNAP card and thus can not use it for any transaction you are at that point (and that transaction) not a SNAP customer.
