Trump's Second Term

I hope a future president has Schitler's ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ ballroom destroyed. And dumps the debris on his ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ grave.
I thought about what I would do with it, if I were to become president some day. At first I thought tear it down and restore the Rose Garden, but then I thought that would be wasteful. Instead I'd turn it into a museum celebrating Barack Obama. I figure that would be the thing that would most enrage the hopefully-by-then ghost of Trump.

DJ Grothe has mapped wages. For some reason hourly wages fell in 2024 for all. For the lowest earners wages have continued to fall in 2025:

This is growth in wages. For wages to fall the line would have to dip below zero. Just like following the black death the loss in the labour force led to a rise in wages, so we see a post covid peak in wages, particularly benefitting the poorest paid. Wages continue to rise for all, but at a similar rate to 2016

Your obviously correct, but even positive absolute wage growth can be negative in real terms if it falls below inflation and Trump's tariffs are causing higher inflation.

You are right, but there was also about 3% inflation then.

It's amazing what nonsense they will dig up as "evidence." Man, if that money was divided evenly amongsth protesters, that's a whopping $42 for each person. Wow.
Not only that, but they are just assuming all the money came from specific people (the usual suspects) when probably the vast majority came from people who were in the crowds or associated with the hundreds of groups that participated, so it was basically them paying the $42 to attend. Trump wants his cult to believe that Soros paid an army of illegals to make fancy signs in a factory, when really most of it was made by the participants at home.

Fox say everyone got $500 to show up.

FOX News really thinks that 7 million NO KINGS protesters were paid $500 per day each to protest against Trump:

“You’ve gotta get permits. You gotta get police out there. You gotta get the signs. You gotta get the messaging out. To have millions of people out there, that is not a cheap endeavor. And I’ll also say that there is a company called ‘crowds on demand’ that has a CEO and you can pay them to go out and protest for you. Up to $500 a day you can make as a paid protester. This is the reality we’re in. So the question mark is, ‘where did the money come from.’”

They have serious DDS (Democrat Delusion Syndrome).
