In Trump's America, you're a hell of a lot more likely to lose your job, your home, your retirement, your kid's college fund, your healthcare savings plan, and your investments the next time one of Trump's under regulated Wall Street cronies implodes the economy (and then be forced to give over your tax dollars to bail them out because they're "too important to fail") than you are getting mugged of a few dollars by some undocumented gang banger on a Chicago street.

Antifa is the perfect bogey: it only exists in the minds -- okay, the mouths -- of
the MagaRepublicans. They can blame it for absolutely anything, and describe it
as fictitiously as their (rather limited) imaginations can manage.

Let's help them out. Suppose you were challenged to go to a Halloween party as an AntiFa.
Describe or draw your costume. Your props. Your persona. What would you sound like?

Most importantly, what would you bring? Something to eat? To drink? To play with?

C'mon, dammit, this's a national crisis, not just some frozen-assed scrap metal drive! That's
WW2 stuff, and you know what we think of that of that jew bastid Roosevelt!

Which is why they keep saying Dems are funding Antifa

They've certainly been trying to tie Anti-Fa to the Democratic Party for a long time, as part of their attempts to drag the Democratic Party into the mud with them and their right wing terrorist problem to fuel more and more bothsiderism. The main problems with this, though, are that the Democratic Party isn't really tied to the anarchists in Anti-Fa that they demonise, the danger that Anti-Fa actually poses is at the level of minor misdemeanors, and that the threat posed by the terrorism that Republicans drive to gain political points actually is a very real threat.

Well, I bet that whole "stopping wars" thing gets put on the back burner real quickly. If not just tossed in the trash.

Much of the stopping wars crap seemed more like desperate excuses for why Trump didn't stop Russia's invasion at all and has been humiliatingly stupid and inane on that front, which was something that he promised he would do over and over and was one of the big justifications from Trump voters for why they intended to vote for him. It's also seemed like it's mainly become more and more of a thing as a diversion from how he's working on starting and enabling more and worse wars, rather than being about this particular prize. So, no, I doubt it will just disappear. The Nobel Prize feels more like a convenient opportunity for them to trot out that utterly lying propaganda, especially when he's so obviously picking a fight with Venezuela.

I got excited for a moment. I was sure my bingo card had "US and a Muslim nation agree for a military base to be built by one country in the other country" but alas it wasn't this way around. I definitely didn't have "Muslim nation builds military base in the US".

This development sorta begs a question. What is the actual agreement in play and how does the Trump Administration/Miller intend to use this base to further plans?

Shameless

Bondi: "We've been living through a horrific cycle of political violence in this country ... night after night antifa wrecks havoc on the streets of our cities. In Minnesota, a gunman murdered a state lawmaker and her husband."

Lol does she think most people buy this ◊◊◊◊? Her mentioning it is going to cause people to look it up and see which side the guy belongs to.

It were witches that withered my crops! They put a curse* on my SQL query, that's why I didn't finish the work project! WITCHES!!!! Clearly we need to grant Trump more power so he can deal with the witches that plague our land!!!!

...If they were to apply critical thinking. So much of Republican propaganda completely relies upon the pointed refusal of their target audience to apply critical thinking to their propaganda, though, and utterly falls apart on even casual inspection. Nevertheless, we still have right wing preachers yelling about Democrats putting kitty litter in schools to accommodate kids who identify as cats, along with pretty much all the rest of the insane garbage they spew.

Just one nit to pick, the entirety of SQL is witchcraft. I've confirmed this with our SQL administrator.
