Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

"Proven innocent"? If anything, it looks to me like she backed up a couple of feet first and then cut her wheel sharply to her right expressly to try to avoid hitting the dumbass. (The "◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ bitch" commentary was a nice touch, though)

it also looks as though she rips out of there so fast because she got shot in the head a few times

You can see from the footage in the BBC article I posted a few pages back that the wheels of the car begin to turn to the right at the same time as she begins to move forwards.

0:40 is where the officer violates regulations by carelessly placing himself in the prospective path of the vehicle as the vehicle is maneuvering to depart the area. He violates not only path-of-travel restrictions but distance restrictions. This is an incredibly clear case of officer negligence and misconduct.

Also, obviously, it is the officer who is agitated, not the women in the car.

also of note that he was maneuvering around to film with his phone

TRUMP: She behaved horribly. And then she ran him over.

KANNO-YOUNGS: The video didn't look like he was run over

TRUMP: It's a terrible scene

It didn't "didn't look like he was run over", he WAS NOT run over. I had a twat before Xmas refuse to stop for three seconds so I could step with my dogs into a field entrance and let them pass on a blind corner on a shared path/single lane road. I swore very loudly at the selfish ◊◊◊◊, but according to this arguement I should have shot the old fart in the face. She gave him more room than he gave me.

The inert weight of a dying body on the accelerator will do that.
Exactly the reason you do not use deadly force against the driver unless the driver is threatening life with something other than the car. Incapacitating the driver does not stop the car; it makes the car even more dangerous by removing any semblance of control over its movement.

...which is not a legitimate purpose since the body cam is already recording the scene. It is clear the driver is maneuvering to avoid the officer and the area, and that this should have been apparent to the officer. The officer approaches the car as it attempts to pass around the officer and depart. That's another huge no-no. If there is reason to suspect that the driver is preparing to use the car as a weapon, or that the driver or someone else in the car is reaching for or aiming another weapon, the proper procedure is to increase distance between yourself and the vehicle. This is trained on very extensively in local law enforcement and FBI training, to the point where it becomes second nature. Training to second-nature is how you overcome the problem of panicky split-second (wrong) decisions.

Sadly none of this will matter because high-ranking officials in the Trump regime have all committed to the narrative that blames the victim and completely exonerates the officer. The FBI will be pressed to investigate in a way that supports those knee-jerk fantasies.

I can't even begin to comprehend the stupidity of these jackasses that are defending this murderer and then have the gall to call liberals retarded.

Trump on Renee Good: We will always be protecting ICE and we will always be protecting our border patrol and our law enforcement.

What they're actually doing is putting targets on the backs of everyone who works for DHS.

I can almost guarantee that this will not end well for these jackasses.

ETA: I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to take a long, long break from this forum, because I am so pissed off that I'll most definitely post something that will get me banned.

Trump-bots are all over Reddit convinced the agent's cell phone footage completely vindicates him for some reason. Of course this ignores the fact that the agent broke multiple engagement rules and that nothing she did warrants a death sentence, but it seems the "talking points" have been put in place.

It doesn't prove anything because you can't see anything at the time she was shot. Given that we already have numerous video clips showing that she pulled away to the right and, at most, brushed against him before he drew his sidearm and fired straight into her face as she passed by him, nothing here contradicts what we've seen with our own eyes.

I'd say Carl Higbie is a boot-licking, authoritarian apologist ◊◊◊◊ face.

Take gentle care.

I just spoke with a friend who is a retired police officer. He talked about what a huge red flag it is to see any sort of law enforcement screaming obscenities at people to try and force compliance, even in cases where the person has actually violated the law. He expressed his opinion that the number of videos he's seen showing ICE shouting things like "get out of the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ car!!!" is evidence of not only how poorly trained they are, but how psychologically unfit they are for the job. In his words, "you can see these ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ starting to get their backs up, and there are going to be more people murdered by them before this is over, because they're starting to see everyone as an enemy and a 'terrorist' ". He said he's afraid they're going to reach a point where they just start firing wildly into a crowd.

I have to disagree with you there, Donnie, because some day you'll be ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ dead from a stroke or God knows what other ticking time bomb is about to go off in that disease ridden old body of yours, and your sycophants will go all The Death of Stalin over each other as the MAGA C.H.U.D.s lose interest in any of your wannabe successors.

We have holidays celebrating the births and lives of past presidents, but maybe someday we'll have one celebrating one's demise.

The day after the shooting, the Minnesota Star Tribune identified the ICE agent involved as Jonathan Ross.[1] His name has not been publicly released by federal authorities, but was identified by the Tribune through court records.[2][3] In a White House press briefing, Vice President JD Vance had previously stated that the shooter had previously been injured in a traffic stop six months prior to this incident, which lead them to find the case describing such an incident.[1][32] On June 17, 2025, in an incident unrelated to Good, Ross was dragged 50 yards and injured by a vehicle when he smashed the window of the vehicle and reached in to try to unlock the door; Ross received 33 stitches.[33][1][34] Court documents listed his start date with ICE as 2016.
