The answer is never. So long as American gun nuts place a higher value on their right to own a gun than on the lives of their children, this will continue to happen.

Well, if someone like this recent shooter - who, based on his writings, fantasized about killing children - really wants to cause harm, he wouldn't need a gun to do it.

Do you really think the killers at Virginia Tech (32), Sandy Hook ES (26), Marjory Stoneman-Douglas HS (18), Robb ES (18) and Columbine HS (14) could have killed as many children as they did with a knife?

I don't think that's quite the argument yoiu think it is.
 
The fundamental vacuousness of the "oh if they didn't have a gun they'd do it with a knife" is that they don't. That single incident in China is the one that always gets pulled out to support that stupid argument, because it just doesn't happen nearly as often with a knife. With a gun, a shooter can kill a lot of people from a long way away with very little effort. Not so with a knife.

It's a stupid and dumb argument.

Exactly and quoting stats to support one form of death as worse than the other, easier than the other, more efficient or more convenient for the perp is utterly pointless.
 
The double-digit mass shooting numbers for August are in from GVA.org and they are shockingly low.

3 killed, 11 wounded – Hookah lounge fight – Brooklyn, New York – August 17
2 Black males (2 suspects unidentified)


2 killed, 18 wounded – Tranny goes to Catholic school – Minneapolis, Minnesota – August 27
White male

There were 8 mass shootings in Illinois: 6 in Chicago, 2 in Cook County.

0 white supremacist mass shooters.

The tranny is only the 3rd known white shooter in the 18 double-digit mass shootings this year.

Black males and females, 9 of them, have been arrested with charges ranging from capital murder, to attempted murder to accessory after the fact.

4 killed, 16 wounded at a high school alumni reunion party.
0 suspect descriptions are available but this is a prime example of a retard culture shooting.
"We had 700 people at this party, and we have yet to get a witness that can tell us who the shooters are,”
'Glock with a switch' was one of the weapons used.

2 killed, 11 wounded at a Halloween party.
Pre-shooting video from the party shows several retards flashing money and guns, the sheriff is having a hard time with witnesses because the "no snitch culture" is common in his county.

Who said that? I didn't.

When it comes to double-digit mass shootings, they are a relatively small problem.

The last one to occur was in October 2024. There have been 54 non-white supremacist double-digit mass shootings since then. I'm guessing there have probably been close to a thousand total mass shootings since then also.

By comparison, there have been at least 4 tranny mass shootings in the last few years. When it comes to mass shootings, trannies are much more problematic than white supremacists.
