It's factually true that young Black males are the most homicidal of any group in the US - by a lot. Our problem is that it is political kryptonite to openly notice this fact; the consequence being that the vastly disproportionate rate of Black homicides goes on unabatted. Instead, the eye of Sauron is focused on suburban NRA members with no criminal record.

3 double-digit mass shootings in May.

1 killed, 15 wounded – Sweet 16 party – Houston, Texas – May 14
No suspect description. Shooting occurred when an uninvited guest was asked to leave the party.

10 wounded – private boat party – Little River, South Carolina – May 25
Black male. Shooter opened fire into a crowd during an argument.

2 killed, 9 wounded – Unauthorized car meet up – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – May 26
Glock with a switch and at least 4 other guns were fired. Law enforcement was present and dispersing the crowd when the shooting started.

From the links (not in your post) only 3 fire fighters are noted to have been shot: 2 dead and one critically injured. And the police found the shooter dead, maybe suicide. I see nothing anywhere that mentions 11 fire fighters shot or terrorist training or even a hint of any motive. If I were to guess I'd start with a lone wolf mental issue.

From my day/evening spent searching through the news reports on the murdered fire fighters, consider it my opinion, I don't want to cite anything tonight.

The shooter sounds like an incell though none of the news stories went there.

His parents divorced when he was 10. It sounds like there was physical violence and other kinds of turmoil. For reasons I didn't quite understand, his mom or grandmother or someone bought their house after they were not living in it and donated it to the fire department to practice by burning it down. Seems like that was enough to trigger this idiot.

At some point he applied to be a fire fighter, not sure of the time frame between that and the shooting. But he did have some recent disappointment(s) as these creeps often do that triggered the events.

Sadly 2 battalion chiefs were shot and killed right at the outset when they first encountered the guy and told him to move his truck. The third fire fighter was shot at the same time or soon after. He has been reported to be stable.

The police were able to trace the shooter's cell phone where they found him dead by a self inflicted gun shot. And yes there are pics with him with a MAGA hat on but political motivation seems unlikely to have been a key factor.
