Of course it would, it's not a quick fix and it would take decades to become effective as the problem has been decades in its creation and cannot be fixed overnight.

It doesn't have to be a 100% solution right off the bat. It just needs to make things better than they are now. Moving in the right direction. Fewer gun deaths. Zero gun deaths is a longer-term goal.

After 0 double-digit mass shootings in February, we are back with 2 in March.

Black male. 2 killed, 12 wounded. Mardi Gras celebration. Mamou, Louisiana.

4 Hispanic males. 3 killed, 15 wounded. Street party. Las Cruces, New Mexico.

It's funny how you imply that I only mention black shooters. I've been accused of the same thing by other members before so I will challenge you, as I have with the others, to provide an example of me ignoring a white shooter. The only time you will possibly find an example is because there was no information publicly available at the time of my last search.

So put up or shut up. Bring the examples.

ETA: Just a few days ago Norman Alexander quoted me saying "black terrorists." Like you, he attributed something to me that never happened. Like you, he was wrong. I don't expect a correction from either one of you, that's the 'skeptic' way.

I blame white supremacists only when white supremacists are the ones doing the mass shootings.
I blame blacks only when blacks are the ones doing the mass shootings.

I blame trannys only when trannys are the ones doing mass shootings.
I blame Asians only when Asians are the ones doing mass shootings.
I blame whites only when whites are the ones doing mass shootings.

You seem to have a hard time understanding that blacks commit the overwhelming majority of mass shootings while whites are a very small proportion.

So far this year there have been seven mass shootings with double-digit body counts. Of the seven, suspects have been arrested, killed or identified in four of them. . None of them have been white.
 
I'm feeling like blaming the shooter as an individual is the smarter move than blaming whatever group you declare them representative of.

Fortunately we have people like you to tell us that the vast over-representation of blacks in the violent crime rates, including murder and rape, is really because of white racism, right?

You're not ignoring them. Conceded. But you are also not engaging any discussion about the mass shootings you bring up. So why do it? What you are doing is spelling out the statistics in long form, with no interest in them beyond the color of their skin.

Can we be ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ done with this? The mass shootings you post are almost invariably the results of arguments, family slaughters, or (apparently) gang activity. In short, the people know each other, and their activity is limited to their social groups. When we talk about mass shootings, we are normally referring to a killer semi/randomly shooting strangers. No personal involvement, that the general population has to be wary of. The people in your stories are not taking a sniping perch in a Las Vegas hotel or taking an AR to school or marching into a grocery store or bowling alley and cracking off rounds at people they have no issues with.

Can we simply acknowledge the distinction so that things can get out of this endless screen saver? It's not "driving your point home" to post about an argument at a bar that results in multiple casualties, likely by accident. That's a phenomenon worth discussing in it's own right (deadly violence as a means of resolving relatively petty interpersonal disagreements), but as long as you don't engage any discussion beyond the race of the shooters, you're wearing a persona big and bold that is prohibitive of anything constructive being talked about.

Strawmanning? No. It happens on this board frequently. Poverty, slavery, redlining, food deserts, malnutrition, school to prison pipeline, systematic systems of institutional racism, etc. All of which are laid directly at the feet of white racism, white supremacy or white majority.

No. I'll continue to post the double-digit mass shootings as a reminder to everyone that the random retard-culture mass shootings are a much greater danger to the public than the rare white supremacist mass shooting or 'white boy gone crazy' mass shooting.

I agree that your point is not being addressed by others. But that's not really their fault at this point, man. You went way too far without anything but "check it out- them darkies at it again".

Turn it around. Make the conversation go where there is one to be had without this silliness it devolved to.

I tried that approach a long time ago, It didn't work then, it won't work now.

I will continue using this current approach because I believe it is the most effective method for the amount of effort I'm willing to put out.

I'm thinking any extra effort will go to the "school shooting" thread, do some narrative shattering there as well.
