Just thought I'd share: A perfect example of the interviewer asking leading questions and the scientist not taking the bait.

To summerize: It's an interview regarding some abnormal radio signals detected from the center of the galaxy. The woo interviewer is trying to get the guy to admit they just might be E.T.s...but he keeps laughing at her.

The guy handled himself very well. The interviewer, despite having a bit of a bias, also seemed very polite and handled himself well without asking anything all that silly really. All in all I'd say it was pretty interesting. Curious bursts, possibly from some spinning thing, but at least not nearly as gamma-y as some celestial objects.

 

[Godmode]

The questions seemed sensible to me. After all, that IS the goal of SETI, people want to know if other life might be out there. I think after hearing about this signal, similar questions ran through their mind. Sure it's unlikely, but it would have been very strange if nobody even asked.
