The thread for stupidity from GQP politicians who don't have their own thread

That was one truly bizarre phone call. Gish galloping, incessantly talking over the reporter and making accusations are all typical tactics used to avoid answering questions.

Are we sure this wasn't Kari Lake? Because that sure sounded like her tactical style - talk over everyone and throw as much **** at the wall as possible in the hope that some of it will stick.

I heard she actually used the "Do you know who I am?" line.
I can't remember where I saw it, it might even have been here, but I am reminded of a reported incident of "do you know who I am" at an airport checkin, whereupon the person in charge got on the microphone and announced publicly something on the order of "we need a doctor at gate so and so, because there's a person here who doesn't know who he is."

:D

I would like some of these Macho guys just try to do some of the things Kelly did on screen and not collapse in pain. Same goes for Fred Astaire.

Reminds me of a TV series call 'The Dancer' self contained little documentaries about dance.

I saw the episode about ballet, and the male dancer said: "Everyone thinks that ballet dancers are weak and effeminate, so try this at home."

He then introduced his girlfriend, and demonstrated a lift that ended up with her lying down in the air above his head, supported only by one of his hands.

And then went on to talk about how strong a ballet dancer has to be, while walking around and continuing to hold her above his head, with that one hand.

I've never been so impressed with the sheer physicality of two people as much as those two.

Though I suppose it was a bit of baiting on the lawyer's part (who could resist, after all?) the comment leading to the tirade was that he would not be asked about lumpy pillows.

The outburst seems pretty crazy anyway, since any documented instance of complaints about lumpy pillows would immediately mark Lindell's response as belligerent nonsense, where, had he said nothing at all, or just made a gesture (or hark back to old Ronnie Reagan, and the empty but hugely effective "there you go again") , he could have deflected the comment to make the lawyer look like the incivic one.

Everything Trump touches lumps.

I've seen some of the videos of her getting escorted out and she looks like she is having trouble hosltering them guns.

Apparently, our anti-abortion, pro-life Colorado Congress Critter who cares deeply about babies, was sitting behind a pregnant woman and vaping. The woman asked Bobble-head to stop - the response was "No!"

As Bobble-head was being escorted away, she called the woman a "sad and miserable person". Then as she was being escorted out of the theater, she said thing like "Do you know who I am," "I will be contacting the mayor," and "I am on the board."

NOTE: She is apparently not on the board of the Buell Theater.
