Kudos for the gender neutral reference in this day and age. Well, at least in this part of the world.
 


The day snacks vending machines become infallible and replicate their infallible selves is the day I might consider worrying. As far as I can see, robots will displace human jobs and create other fields of human jobs.

Some of the greatest advancements to humankind have been through human error.

I'm now reminded of another couple of pop culture references...

2001: A Space Odyssey. HAL9000 is programmed with conflicting instructions causing loss of human lives. (The Kubrik version of Arthur C. Clarke's sci-fi novel.)

David Bowie song, Saviour Machine. Saviour Machine eliminates war, poverty, disease, famine, etc then advise humans to destroy the machine they've created.

Robots bring their incompatible cultures with them, their religions, their politics, their phobias, and will interbreed with our children and change our country into theirs!!

How can we be certain the robots won't be loyal to their robot overlords and the robot pope? Once they're here, suppose the robot king in the old country says "rise up and slay the humans!", will they choose to loyalty to their new country or their old? It's too big a risk, I say, we must build a wall out of EMPs to keep the robots out! Keep our blood organic!!
