There is an infinite number of whole numbers which is countable 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. This is in oposition to fx, all numbers (including the irrational ones) which you can't count.
Here is a link that explains it in greater detail if you're interested. BTW according to a math teacher in my old high school, there might be an infinity between countable and uncountable infinity, but you can prove mathematically that you can't prove whether this exists
