As scheduled, the debate between myself and pdoherty has begun over at 911debates.com, a new website for hosting debates on 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Pdoherty has made his opening statement, and you can all view the responses both myself and pdoherty make over the next few days. Only myself and pdoherty will be able to post in the thread though.

I see that he's abandoned the standard CT claim for why it was destroyed. The strange thing is that had the reason truely been what he says, then there'd be no reason to lie about it. Everyone would have accepted it if they'd said, "we have to demo 7 so we can get the resuce crews in withoout it collasping on them." So why lie about it. It doesn't make sense.

So Pdoh! believes that wtc7 wasn't severely damaged and didn't have severe fires, but that the FDNY decided it had to come down anyway because it was somehow getting in the way of the rescue attempts at the pile but, of course, they didn't consider going into this stable structure and fighting the minor fires because it was much better to collapse it into another big pile which somehow wouldn't be in the way of the rescue attempts...... or something.

I tells ya, it hurts my head when I try to think like a 'truther', so those poor guys must have permanent migraines.

Perhaps at some stage Pdoh! will attempt to explain the need to bring down wtc7 if the damage it had sustained was not sufficient to make it fall by itself. Why make another big pile? Why not send a couple guys in with a hose to fight the small fires while everyone else gets on with searching the wtc tower piles? Why not just admit that he's spinning to prove wtc7 CD without implicating those who made the decision to pull any attempt at fighting the fires, because (in his eyes) the building wasn't unsafe and there really must be another sinister reason for bringing it down, but he can't say that because he has to pretend that he is on the side of the first responders?

What a fake.

Oi! The Doc may be Maverick, but comparing P'Doh to a Mig? It was a decent fighter,

This is a real challenge for Pdoh, he has to not only concentrate on the topic in hand and submit evidence, but also wait for a response.

Pdoherty's first post just seems so weird. I must admit, that's the first time I've heard that argument, that WTC7 was brought down to facilitate rescue efforts. And how would the demolition teams function in a building already on fire, anyway?? :confused:

What? It "had to be"? Nice motive. He didn't even explain why it "had to be" demolished. I've heard the "I don't have evidence of this, it just was true" line before, but never so blatantly.
 
Perhaps wtc7 had to be demolished because without it..........

.......there would be no 'truth' movement.

This isn't an argument, it's just contradiction!

Ah, but the MiG-28 is akin to PDoh, in that both are the products of fiction. :)

(The "MiG-28s" in Top Gun were Northrop T-38 Talon training jets (and possibly F-5As as well). God I'm tragic).
