The biggest problem facing the "Truth Movement"

The biggest problem the truth movement faces is its inability to congeal their plethora of obtuse and often contradictory ideas/theories/coincidences into a uniform and plausible SINGLE THEORY.

You add to this the selfish reasoning behind accepting such nonsense, namely to belong to something, and to reinforce the false sense of self-importance that most truthers crave, and you have a recipe for continuous chaos and disorganization that will insure the obscurity of their movement for the forseeable future.

Well, that technology, we either don't have it, or we must have taken it from the Roswell crash site or maybe it was given to Ronald Reagan by the Reptillains or the Masonic Nephillim from Zeta Reticuli. Or perhaps even the conscious enlightening Cetaceans from Mars!

And as you said, the bigger a CT gets, the more imagination these people have to generate, which leads to the ridiculous, unfalsifiable claims they're so proud of.

Of course it's slowly cracking, but you know what they do? Imagine this or analogy, or whatever the name for what you're about to read is.

They create their egg.
The egg symbolizes the 9/11 conspiracy theories.
People like us come along and start hitting it with little debunking hammers.
It starts to crack.
Yet, they keep it together with a Super Glue called "REBOMIL" (Ridiculous Excuses Based On Misinterpreted Information and Lies)
And since we keep hitting every single piece that still isn't cracked, they end up having an only super glue blob thing that no matter how many times we hit it, it won't crack anymore. Yet they believe that this super glue monstrosity is still the bloody egg they started with. But they don't care about that, they just need to know if it's cracking or not. If they do, there goes a squirt of "REBOMIL" Super Glue.

Not long ago I was in the fringe area...No, I didn't buy the no planes theory, TV, video fakery crap. That in itself seemed ludicrous to Me, not when all the eyewitnesses were describing planes flying into buildings. I didn't buy the missile hitting the Pentagon theory, even though I was intrigued by it for a time. The pod theory was..well I didn't even bother with that one. The collapsing of TC's 1 & 2 is what got Me to the fringe, it's collapse appearance was like nothing I had ever seen before.
What took Me from that was R. Mackey's very astute evaluation of NIST and his considerable knowledge of Quantum physics. Gumboot and Beachnut convinced Me about the Norad and FAA procedures.
What was left of the CT demon to be exorcised of Me was key person(s) in the govt. had LIHOP. Although this Administration is top in my skeptical list. I do not hold the LIHOP theory as cognitive dissonance anymore...I'm just maintaining a close watch on the White House group.
That being said, the truther movement has all kinds, each taking a selective area and searching for evidence....but the flaw in their search is that since there are so many disinfo sites, they tend to gravitate to them. When a real debunking site is found, they will bypass it. Or before they bypass it, they will argue with anyone who supports the site and then leave. I have seen this many times and it makes them look so foolish and idiotic.
This seems to be the biggest problem; The sites keep coming and people keep feeding off this crap, so much so that quite a few believe without searching for any evidence. If that person... (Alex Jones, DRG, and so on) says so, then it must be true....case closed, mind is shut. Then they get told to check out more disinfo sites to put the icing on the cake. If I could make a quote for them, this is what it may look like;
"My delusional hell does not agree with yours"

I think, the current USG has shown, time and time again, its lack of ability, its near incompetence. You will find few here that will argue this point. Look at the currect political situation...

Comey....gone

The only ones left are Dick and Dubya....is this the face of the unstoppable evil NEO-CON Cabal that would do everything in its power to maintain power?

These guys will be all gone in less than 2 years. They have had their 8 years. If they were the super evil, super diabolicle villians the truthers say they are, then I have to say I am disappointed. Alex Jones also believes in the Bilderberg group, because, since they have private meetings to simply discuss the planet's greatest issues, they're automatically secretive and "planning something" like concentration camps for christians.
Not long ago I think, Melinda Gates was in that meeting!!! MELINDA GATES!!!! He's basically accusing Melinda Gates of planing with the elite to control the world for money....Doesn't she have enough by now?

I was impressed to see one of my own country's representatives, from Portugal. I did know the guy, and I wondered....is he up to something?

You know what just recently happened in Portugal? The guy resigned!!! He was accused of somehting and now he's out. If he was doing somehting....he isn't doing it anymore. Unless the reptillians now control the mind of his successor, the plan of the aliens is going down the drain.

Alex Joesn doens' think, he only gets emotional. And he certainly doesn't stay up to date. It's all america, america, america. It's all concentration camps in america....what about the rest of the world? If it's onyl in america, won't people form OUTSIDE AMERICA start wondering why Mr. Adolf Bush is burning christians?
Sometimes, and this might offend some of you, but sometimes americans forget they are in this planet together with more than 200 other countries.
The rest of the world isn't just Iraq and the United Nations and the United Kingdom.
If you listen to Alex Jones' claims, he's only trying to save America from the neo-cons or whatever. But the stuff he talks about is clearly stuff concerning the whole state of the world, but he only talks about America. If the guy was indeed saving the world he should travel around the world. Not yelling at the White House.

I've always thought that the biggest problem facing the "Truth Movement" is that their theories make no f-ing sense and they're a bunch of lunatics intent on what basically amounts to dancing on the graves of the victims of this horrible act of terrorism.

There are two ways to look at the LTW boyz going on Rosie O's show (I would hardly call it B.Walters puppy anymore, as Rosie has clearly hijacked it).

1. It is lending a voice, and hence indirectly, legitimacy to a set of ideas and conspiracy theories that are not really worthy of such a soap box. This will cause an upheaval from the mass of her dimwitted fans who do not know any better, or could care less, as all that the Diety Rosie says is gospel truth.

2. It will expose a movement that best works in the shadows where it can rely on the naivety of those who inquire of it. Now the true academic and scientific bears will be forced out of hibernation, and will deal the movement, hopefully, a fatal blow, rendering it rediculous, and back to the far end of the library.

Take your pick on how it will play out.

Both are interesting options, it will most likely be a combination of both, at least for a while, but I think ultimately option 2 will last much longer.

The "I follow whatever Rosie says" View watchers only have her on there for a short time after. I doubt many will become hardcore truthers, and once she's not given a soapbox every day, they'll get over it.

The fact that it will gain national attention, given their lack of evidence, will only hurt them overall. They might gain a few naive people who don't bother to research it, but the more they drag it into the spotlight, the more every other show/news outlet will bring on experts to weigh in. Going on National TV to basically declare "We've devoted the last 6 years to this and have no cohesive theory that explains what happened, except 'the opposite of whatever the official story is'" shouldn't be too convincing to anyone with a moderate level of intelligence.
 
The biggest problem with the majority of the people who subscribe to the trooth movement is their inflexibility, their complete unwillingness to even try to learn the truth. It as though it is all one big game and they are sticking it to the man. This anti establishment garbage that is throughout the majority of the posts you see from them.

The truth that these guys refuse to even acknowledge is far worse than anything their nutty leaders could come up with and it is actually staring them all in the face. But hey why accept this, why even bother to try and address the hardest question of all: Why?

It is better as already been pointed out to create problems, make out that they are the saviors of humanity and they have spotted something that everybody else missed, apart from their fellow troothers of course. This unbridled, snotty , almost arrogant belief that they are so smart and so clever, they are actually in a position to bring down the Government of the one remaining super power is almost laughable. If it was not for the fact that this is such a sensitive area, such an emotive issue, they would simply be dismissed as the raving loony, shouting the odds in the corner.

Yet they don’t see it, they don’t see how they are being ripped off, being deceived, being totally conned by those they class as the real gurus, Jesus don’t make me laugh, for God sake. These guys are idiots who simply feed off the anti establishment BS that is played out for their benefit. Ripping off the gullible and naive is literally as easily as stealing candy from a baby because they want to believe it all; they want it all to be true. That way they feel they won’t have wasted their pocket money on Griffins new book or it will be a swell night when LCFC hits the theaters. All the funds going directly to the makers who sit back at laugh not only at the people who buy into this rubbish but at the very dreadful event it is.

This complete bollox they come out with that unless you believe them and live in their world of paranoia, then you are just sheep who believes everything that is spoon fed for the USG is preached right from the very top of this movement. It is like some kind of rally call, some get out card, whereby hey look at us, aren’t we clever, look how cool we are and if you buy my DVD you too can be cool and clever. It is not clever, it is not cool, it is bloody disrespectful and completely uncalled for.

Why can they just not open their eyes and see how utterly stupid these theories are, how they are being utterly conned and ultimately they are being robbed of their own history. Why can they not actually concentrate their efforts on the very real issues there are on this planet. Why, oh why do they have to believe complete rot when they could actually contribute to the solution by making the effort to understand the under lying issues that really are there and not some nutty theories inside some loonies head?

The truth movement is a joke promoted and propagated by people who have no interest in the truth. Their only interest is lining their pockets and promoting themselves. Obscure idiots who suddenly feel all important feeding off people who simply want to believe that innocent people caused mass murder.
