The word "conservative" is being misused. The Trumpers are radical extremists who have nothing in common with Ronald Reagan or John McCain. I can only imagine what McCain would have been saying about Trump's attempt at a coup.

I agree. As I said, it's a very broad generalization. Not all change is good, not all new ideas are good. But you're absolutely correct that the balance with the GOP is way off: they are pushing nothing but fear now.

We all remember the horrible day a mob of illegal immigrants broke into the Capitol looking for the VP calling for his and Congress members' deaths after killing a Capitol police officer, don't we?

More seriously: I think at one point people were thinking Haley might try a run for higher office (such as the presidency). Comments like that certainly put her in the 'far right/pro-Trump/MAGAchud' camp. Which could make it a problem appealing to those outside of the Trump base.

They should probably be gone by now or limited to much smaller numbers than currently remain. That cost is pretty substantial on top of what I already imagine is a large cost in regards to security already in place there.

  • So Iran might have enriched uranium? You do understand that there are other uses for it beyond making bombs? That said, it was Trump who decided to not deal with Iran.
  • Racial radicalism? What the hell is that? You do get America is a diverse nation and we should be inclusive and provide opportunities to all races.
  • Pseudo History? You mean acknowledging the racism and slavery that was an unfortunate component of our history as opposed to pretend they didn't exist?
  • As for oil production. The intent is to move the nation to alternative energy resources like solar. That's a good thing. Don't worry, we don't need as much since Trump screwed the economy over.
  • So what were keeping the National Guard longer in DC?

I'm more convinced than ever, the US is on the right track.

This goes to some twitter user who announces "Biden just said Iran may be weeks away from building an atomic bomb".

Well, the U.S. and various allies had a deal with Iran to limit its ability to enrich uranium.

Stubby McBonespurs ended the deal, and Iran started enriching uranium.

If Iran is closer to building a bomb, I wonder who's fault that is?

Not only does Biden want to increase the use of renewable energy (as others have pointed out), he also wants to increase fuel efficiency. Won't need as much oil then.

Other western countries have had transgender people serving in the military for years, with no apparent decrease in military ability.

The whole Transgender ban was actually counter-productive. It removed experienced soldiers, disrupting unit integrity.
