The behaviour of UK police officers.

A police officer has been sacked for making inappropriate comments to five female colleagues and touching them.

PC Fraser Walsham's improper behaviour took place between September 2024 and February.

Eleven allegations against him were found proven after a five-day hearing by Essex Police, which dismissed him from the force.

Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Nolan said his behaviour "fell way below" the standards expected.

Hope no-one sees our kitchen and the array of knives...And the several pocket knives, several of which would be iffy to take outside...And a good number of pairs of scissors...And spare razor cartridges...

Not to mention my renowned sharp tongue...Doesn't have a back lock though.
 
A police officer is due to appear in court charged with sexually assaulting three women in a nightclub.

PC Martin Brough, is alleged to have assaulted the women at a venue in York city centre, during the early hours of 1 December 2024, when he was off-duty.

The 43-year-old, who works for West Yorkshire Police's Operational Support unit, has been suspended pending the outcome of the case.

He is due to appear at York Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

I had better surrender our kitchen knives. In the wrong hands, those could cause serious harm.
 
The final report into the Hillsborough Disaster is out.
Despite abundant evidence of endemic gross police misconduct the will be no consequnces for those responsible for the deaths, the subsequent cover-ups or the lying. Or the failed investigation into the investigation.

Police were called when Mr Smith walked onto the carriageway, and the officer was captured on bodycam footage discharging their Taser, causing him to fall to the ground where he was hit by a car.

Mr Smith was given emergency first aid, but died at the scene. A post-mortem examination has since been carried out ahead of a future inquest.

Investigators at the IOPC are now looking into the actions and decisions made by Avon and Somerset Police prior to Mr Smith's death.
