I heard a rumor that they'd closed that place too? Or am I thinking of some other country & western bar?

And Matt, the sawdust is there to soak up the spilled beer and the vomit ;)

Like my bar souvenir of a gash on the back of my hand from a bar fight. Unfortunately the part that scarred is only about half an inch long, but the original wound looked pretty tough.

I have a pretty rad scar on my forearm from last year, when I burned myself on one of those escalators that they have all over the strip.

Why choose?

Either way, Friday is the PJ party I think, so unless we don't want any women to come along, I'd go with Thursday ...
 
Then Thursday it is. Unless you want to be all "Boys Ahoy!" on Friday. I'm up for going drinking everynight. And there'll probably be some bar at the hotel that becomes the designated hangout, so that's going to be the logical place to start.

No wait! I've got that backwards. I become gorgeous when I drink a lot. And very witty. And articulate.

Pub crawl

Brilliant. I'm up for it. Coming from the UK, so padding out the stay either side, staying for 10 days total.

You know when you've had a good pub crawl when you wake up with a traffic cone, A London underground sign and the deeds to a small cottage in Surrey.

It'll be a challenge in Vegas.

The second annual Pub Crawl is scheduled for 10:00PM Thursday night. Meeting in the lobby at the "Planet X" sign. (Larsen claims there will be signs. I am skeptical.)

Any problems?
 
New guy here. Be gentle.

Has anyone here been to The Whisky Attic on S Maryland Pkwy?

An attendee friend of mine and myself plan to spend a few hours debating the merits of various single malt scotches. Not sure which night.

I'm curious to find out what kind of place it is. Their collection of whiskys looks to be quite good.
