Right now I'm trying to work out the specifics. Husband isn't a fan of me traveling and staying by myself in Vegas, understandably. Right now I'm trying to explain to him that "by myself" is really only a technical term, as I think there are a few reliable people I could count on to help me out if I needed it.
 
I am coming!! Yay! My husband knows how much it means to me, and I am using his skymiles and sleeping wherever. I will fly in Wednesday night, and fly home Saturday morning at 12:45am.

Also, Sophie Hirsh and I have joked about doing a class for the nerdy guys called "How to Get Laid and Influence People" We can not guarantee you will get laid, but maybe that women will not run screaming from you.

Well it started off as a joke, but now looks serious. Like a skepticamp kind of short presentation. I am not talking about ANY of the JREF guys here, of course, but some skeptic men are seriously lacking in the ability to talk to girls.

I understand. I also used to be afraid to talk to them :) My russian stripper girlfriend Cleopatra cured that recently in Atlantic City.

Some of us even have a fair amount of experience with pregnancy, including pregnancy in other people.
 
I am sad regretful unhappy sorry to say that I will not be attending TAM7 after all. Please accept my apologies to those whom I am standing up. I have already begun to plan for TAM8.

I do not blame Lisa for this one.

However, I will find something for which to blame her as soon as possible.

You can use Scrut as a visual aid in the "before" portion of your talk.

That's sad - I had hoped to meet you too. TAM8 won't be possible for me - I'll be doing the Australian Skeptics Convention in Sydney instead next year. But if you can't make it you can't make it. Take care of yourself.
