Someone responded with a good point. Go to the mall, and ask 30 people who Dylan Avery is.

If you would found one person who knew who he was, I would be shocked. If you asked 10,000 people, and one person knew who he was, I would be very surprised.

Dylan Avery is a hero and a celebrity, but only to this small group of people. The work they do spreading the 'truth' is monumental and life altering.. To themselves. They will forever be lumped into the same category as the UFO nuts and the Moon hoaxers; less than a footnote in history. The average person, if they're aware of the 'movement' at all, think that they're either insane, ignorant, or both.

Why hasn't the government killed Dylan Avery, Alex Jones or any of these other conspiracy theorists?

Because they either don't know, or don't care about them.
Because they continue to spout illogical nonsense with no decent proof to back up any of their claims.
Because the average citizen gives their theory the same respect that they give to the crazy homeless guy on the corner screaming about the end of the world.
Because there is no conspiracy, and everyone but a very small group of people know it.
 
He's world famous among the CT Community.

I never heard of Alex Jones until about 3 years ago, when a BBC doc on CT profiled him. I actually forgot about him until the Loose Change stuff started here, about a year ago (has it been that long).

A few months ago some CTer claimed that Jason Bermas was famous. I went to the grocery store (for groceries) and asked several people if they knew who he was, none had ever heard of him. One person thought I was talking about Rick Berman (a producer of Star Trek) at first.
 
His movie is what people know. You could gather a group of 20 average joes, and I bet 5 of them would know the name "Loose Change" but none would know the name of the guy who created it.

I'll bet if I went to the grocery store, here in the USA, and asked 20 people who Alberto Gonzalez is, I might get 3 who know.

I think some intelligence figures are aware of their stuff. But seriously, why do anything about it, or make it a case to the upper levels. These LC people so efficiently ridicule themselves, there is no need to pay attention to them.

The spooks probably check into Truther website on their lunch break for a bit of light stress relief after translating Extremist videos about the imminent destruction of the Infidel empire of the sinful Americans (God Willing) all morning.

I bet they even have pet names for their favourite truthers. Killtown is "Guppy Six".

I noticed people asking you for one fact about 9/11. The clock is ticking and Charlie Sheens worm is turning.

Waiting for facts but instead we will get from the truth movement, no facts just some nuts telling lies. A Beam Weapon did it. Or they planted explosives in the buildings just below the impact areas and they used radio controlled explosives.

The fireman's radios did not work, now radio controlled explosives planted just exactly below the impact of planes not known to be coming work by radio? Got some facts to go with those lies? What a sad movement.
