I said that's what I was told. I never said it was true. But regarding your claim that Sylvia was okay with their leaving simply because she endorsed an article written by them, or because she kept a working relationship with them, means nothing. That has been interpreted, in some circles, as evidence that Sylvia is staying on good terms with them so they don't talk about their experiences at NS too deeply. In most other cases where ministers leave, Sylvia does not keep up a working relationship with them.
I will settle down, when all of this is settled. As for the statements, I think that I accurately said you only passed on what was told to you.
Yes, staying on good terms is one way to quiet them. But, I doubt that Sylvia is talking to Mary or the ministers from her other churches that went down. No, Sylvia wouldn't be chummy with anyone had embezzled money from her. Unlike herself, they would be sitting in a jail cell somewhere.
