My suckifying rays are disturbingly lethal. No gerbil brought into my childhood home had much chance, even when I wasn’t primary caretaker.

They appear also to be tuned to about half the houseplant kingdom. Give me 4 plants, 2 will thrive, 2 will succumb.

I just hope someone invents the counter-suckifying ray gun before I have children.

There is no counter-suckifyig ray gun. That's just silly. There are however counter-suckifying ray helmets you can wear. They look like tin foil but actually a space-age technology that the government has been trying to hide from you. I take Visa or Paypal. Endorsed by celebrity:

My skin is fairly acidic, just look at my mice. There's an etched spot right where I always have my fingers.

I've had the same watch for years. I just have to replace the strap occasionally.

That's a known phenomenon called TPS (Technician Present Syndrome)

A.K.A. Technician Proximity Syndrome, well that is what we commonly refer to it. As you see the closer I get to a machine the "heathier" it becomes. It has been describe as miraculous. Sometimes only a phone call is necessary to fix the problem.

And I guess I emit De-Suckifying Rays at least when it comes to watches. I never expected the Casio to survive a trip through a wood chipper. And if they exist it is an inherited trait from my Father.

Your wife takes weeks, or sometimes months to kill watches?

Hmph. I'm lucky if they last days. The glass gets scratched, the battery falls out, the strap breaks - sometimes all at once.

That's why I just rely on the trusty old phone for timekeeping purposes - on the rare occasions when I'm not able to see the time in the lower right hand corner of the screen...
