Haven't seen a ghost related article around here for a while.

Why are people fixated on the notion that electrical activity in an old house is an indicator of ghosts? If ghosts do exist, exactly what frequency are they on? Or is this just a good device to tell you where to take pictures of orbs, which in reality, is most places, lit correctly?

I often wonder where this came from. Is it maybe the Persinger experiments that have somehow become twisted into this 'theory'?
The one that really gets me wound up is the negative ion detector. One person decided it might be a good gadget, spammed all the ghost hunting groups he could find, and I expect made quite a bit of cash from it, since I have seen many groups with this item in their equipment listing. Now if I could just think one up myself...
