Was looking for something else and ended up reading an old thread on Steorn and I realised I hadn't heard anything about them for sometime. Has anyone else seen anything more recent than this:

The video never mentioned the technology, so I went googling. It went right into perpetual motion stuff with absurd demos. I couldn't find anything but standard woo with neat little magnet arrays that produced no energy. If you hold a magnet above another one, in repulsion, you can "feel" the power. Right. Its the power of the hand, holding the magnet there.

Maybe I missed something?
Anyone have a more credible link?

btw, its lots of fun to peruse the plethora of you-tubes of various pmm's and free energy schemes. People go to lots of trouble with these gizmos.
So far, all fail.
 
Last I looked they were selling a legitimate piece of test equipment that wasn't woo but it appears to have vanished from the website now.
 
The only mention he ever seems to get is on alt-energy boards. I saw something a couple of months ago where someone got a great "scoop" - finally a look at four very selective "documents" that gave solid backing to the research. I can't remember which site, though. But, I do recall that the debunkers jumped on their comments and shredded the documents as worthless and/or actually proving some of Steorn's original errors.

I'd say he still has some investors, so he's not letting it die, but he's learned to STFU rather and maybe rather than make huge embarassing public failures, go with a series of private failures.
 
I dug around some more. Every angle turned up nothing. It simply melted in my hands, although the hype remained potent throughout.

I may have figured out a way to have free energy:

Eliminate the concept of money.
Then, its all free, regardless of the struggle involved.


On the flip side, the way to Free Angela Davis; John Sinclair; Nelson Mandela, etc, is to put everyone in jail and change the definition of freedom.

Is it just me, or have the laws of thermodynamics gotten sort-of 'uppity' lately?
They're so proud of themselves, those laws.
It must get oppressive, always being right.

I can't even find a demo of the orbo technology.
perhaps because I'm opposed to free energy?

I want energy to cost more, actually.

I followed a link in the E-cat thread to PESN to read how Barack Obama teleported to Mars in the 80s (no, really!) and saw an article about Steorn posted 4 days ago. They have developed a new technology, HephaLump HephaHeat, which appears to be an overunity electric shower:

Amazing. Is there any electrical device that doesn't become "overunity" in the hands of Steorn?

What's next? The overunity pendulum? The overunity lead-acid battery?

That does seem petty simple, and begs the question; why were all the so-called 'real scientists' of the past 200 years all too busy doing 'peer reviews' and 'replication of results' to discover this and revolutionise the shower industry?
Incidentally, one of the comments on that site calculates the COP of a Hephaheater at 350 !!ZOMG
 
Well, at least with an overunity shower, you've got a good excuse to put in a scantily clad, good looking model.
This is a promotion that could have real legs.
 
Is it fair to reject something because its against the Laws?
I'm inclined to do so.

Yet, I feel stodgy and conservative doing that.

I wish over-unity was a band, or a new Ben and Jerry's ice-cream flavor.
I'd bite.
