Hey.

I've pinged this question around to a few people, and haven't had an answer yet, so maybe someone who'se been before will know.

The hotel has rooms at discount prices if we specify TAM4. I have TAM tickets, but I would like to stay in the room with someone who MAY not.

Is this going to be a problem?

Do they ask to see tickets before allowing anyone into that area of the building where the rooms are?

I reserved a room for two - myself and my girlfriend - when I am the only one of us who will be attending TAM.

The room rates seemed to be the same whether one or two people would be staying in the room, so I doubt there will be a problem. In other words, if you were staying there by yourself, you would get the discount, and be paying the same rate.

I think as long as the reservation is made in your name and using the code as directed and you have registered for TAM4, I don't see any problem. But then, they won't let me near sharp objects either....

The rooms are scattered in the West Tower, which has (IIRC) about 1,800 rooms, so I rather doubt anyone will be checking things--I don't recall the hotel asking to see anything in writing last year, but I guess they could check their reservation database against TAM4 registration if they think something's fishy. That is why I suggest the reservation be in your name.

You can always PM Linda if you want-once she gets back on-line post-hurricane.
