Spouses at TAM3

Pool Boy comes along, mainly to flirt with the skepchicks. Seriously, the after activities are cool for skeptic and nonskeptic.

He won't attend the meeting. Anyone that wants to drive with Pool Boy to see the Grand Canyon, or Hoover Dam or Red Rocks or hear him endlessly talk about trains (do not mention trains) would be welcome. He is harmless, and housetrained.

He really gets very bored all by himself.:(

He has to come along as I get lost when I drive by myself. Really! Plus, someone has to carry my big bag.

What day is he planning on taking this trip? If it's Fri., Sat. or Sunday, I'm sure Jami would like to come along.

cool, and if I remember Jami is a red head.....Pool Boy will love that!

Check in with me, and I'll let you know...

I've relinked a photo with her so he can see not only how redheaded she is, but how much red hair she has. I spoke with her on the phone tonight and while it's too soon to make specific date/time plans, she is ammenable to a trip to Red Rocks or the Grand Canyon.

More details to come.

Anyone else with spouses, SOs or fellow travellers want to try and coordinate something for them to do besides sitting for hours at the roulette wheel?

Does anybody have any thoughts about bringing spouses/significant others to TAM3 that aren't going to take part in the main events.

My wife wants to go. I'm a little nervous about exposing her to you guys and your skeptic ways as it is seeing that she's a catholic. Of course she's been exposed to my skeptic ways and she's survived that.
So long as she doesn't take part in the main events, she'll probably be fine. Otherwise, she'll be made to feel rather unfomfortable.

Ms. Tricky says she wants to pardicipate in the main events, even though she is a die-hard pagan. Hope she has fun and doesn't feel uncomfortable. (I think she just wants to play footsie with Mercutio.)

Penn called all the Xians something bad, and I didn't care.

This year I'm bringing extra ripe tomatoes.

I can give some to your wife.

Any other SO/wife/children/family members that will be joining the fete, but not attending the Conference have any areas of interest or sites they wish to see/solicit fellow travellers to accompany them?

USA if your friend the red head wants to take Pool Boy out he will try not to drool over her too much. He likes Grated places. How about the wax museum? Or just look at all the lobbys of the Casinos?

But he's not up for the nakey jello wrestling with monkeys sort of stuff.

She seemed pretty comfortable around "us" during the extra-curricular stuff.

I'm so glad you guys are coming. It'll be so great to have other three timers there.

Monkeys? Yes. Jello? Probably. Wrestling? Not likely. Naked? Only if the statues at Caeser's are untoga'd.

I'm sure she'd appreciate a big, strong mustachioed man (unlike myself who is only big and mustachioed) to escort her around. She's never been to Vegas, so it'll all be new to her. We did go to Shreveport about 10 years ago, but neither of us had any money so we didn't hit any casinos or other interesting places.

I haven't spoken with her in the last few weeks, but I'll try and call her Monday or Tuesday and see what she's interested in seeing. I do think she'll be up for a Hoover/Grand Canyon trip for sure.

If there are any other attendees with spouses/children/friends/relatives/SOs who will be there, but not attending TAM, please post any specific doings/goings/outings they might want to check out so we can start coordinating. Almost less than a month to go folks.

Kitten - I need a Geologist

I spoke with Jami last night and she's not up for Thai, but is up for the pajama party and she's up for checking out the topographic wonders of Nevada. She specifically mentioned Red Rocks. If Pool Boy leads an excursion there will you be willing to come along as technical advisor?

Kitten would be the one to do that! But she will be there working so I'm not sure if she can do it.

Still, Pool Boy likes Hoover Dam. He may have to work some so he can take part of the cost of the room off. We have children in private schools people!!!! Though I feel terrible that he will be working even just a little.
