Well, it quite obviously sounds better if you use it in its real form, i.e. Phil, of the house of Beavers.

ETA: Then again, maybe he did tell the cops his name is "Phil Beavers" and they though he was being a smart-ass.
Has anyone been able to use a freeman term to escape punishment? If they have I will eat my hat.
