So, basically, what the media is currently saying is that Cain is a better and more respectable man than Bill Clinton. I understand there was some law suits regarding women. The point is this. They were settled and did not drag on forever. That makes Cain a better choice for president than Bill Clinton.

By the way, who leaked the story? I would find it interesting if it was Romney's camp only for the fact that either Romney or everyone else makes a big deal, it seems, about Romney being a Mormon. Cain had a couple of issues. How many issues -- well, marrages -- did the Mormon prophet, Joesph Smith have with married women while they were still married?

Also, I would like to see a black guy, named Cain, beat a proud Mormon for the GOP nomination.

My problems with Cain have nothing to do with any marital infidelities. The fact that his law suits were quickly dealt with has little bearing on his fitness to be President, imho.

I didn't know that only metric for presidential fitness was number of and duration of law suites. You learn something every day!

Ah, Fox News. Of course, according to them, nearly everyone is better and more respectable than Bill Clinton.

I did not get that from Fox News, nor will I give it to them.

But now that you mention it, isn't everyone better and more respectable than Bill Clinton?

Wouldn't he just about be the only man on the planet who could turn his back on Rwanda?

It shows an ability to manage affairs, whatever those affairs might be.

I think you guys are wrong. It does show an ability to TCB.

You would not be blinded by ideology, would you?

You mean Cain is arguably better at mistreating women?

Surely none of this has anything to do with the fact that Cain's policy positions and economic proposals as a potential candidate for the POTUS are crazy.

You think that's what Cain has done wrt the sexual harassment allegations? I predict that can of worms has only just barely opened. (There's talk about dissolving the gag order--or declaring the settlement agreement already broken by Cain, so that the person making the allegation can tell her side of the story.)

what leads to this prediction?

Naah, Cain isn't better than a pile of cold crap. Just different. Crap isn't evil.

Pizza dude can't even keep his lies straight for a whole day. Could he have kept quiet about what was going on even as he prepared to screw up ObL's day the way that Obama did? I doubt it. The man has too big an ego.

I think that the women should just go ahead and make their statement and dare this drongo to do something about it. He already screwed up by calling them liars.

huh? Since when did everyone on the planet have that kind of ability, authority and command?

When enough people care about something, a president will act. I don't think there was a groundswell off demand from the American people or any other large mass of people for the US to get involved in Rwanda.

The truth is, most people really didn't give a damn, and still don't.

If I were one of his victims, my face would be on the TV right at this moment. He has clearly violated the "Hush Hush" clause of his settlement, and is accusing the victims of LYING.

I would be on the TV demanding MORE MONEY from this black walnut dude.

Why are the Republicans defending this sexist moron?

His 9 9 9 plan is utter crap, yet 30% of the rubes seem to think it is a great idea.

Quite a lot of people did. Given the extremely limited millitary forces availible to the Rwandan goverment of the time pretty much any nation with a fairly solid army or individual or group with the ability to hire merceneries could have interveneaned with a reasonable chance of sucess as long as they could get their forces through Tanzania.

And the people who didn't have the authority or ability at least had the ability to pick up a pen and write a letter to the editor of their local newspaper or a letter to their congressman or the president himself. I don't recall a massive outpouring of public support for an intervention in Rwanda at the time, but if there had been one, the politicians probably would have acted accordingly.

You think Romney's opinion on marriage is somehow invalid because of something Joseph Smith did?
