Shouldn't we be going after this guy?

Given that we're now aiming at exposing the nonsense of high-profile people in the media making outrageous supernatural claims, I think we should be going after this guy.

Joe Ratzinger

He's the head of a cult that makes some spectacular claims, and apparently while in office the guy even has certain superpowers and abilities that should be easy to test. Being infallible would make him a pretty handy guy to have around with you, particularly in Vegas, and i understand just touching clothes he wears can also heal horrendous ailments. Any comments?

It will never happen.
The One True and Only Correct Church tm has nothing to gain. $1M is a molecule in the drop of water in the Ocean that is the The One True and Only Correct Church tm.

Besides, the funny hat is lined with tinfoil; it makes him impervious to all negative energies and thoughts.

You start lighting up the torches, I'll gather up the villagers and the pitchforks.

We've got to take this monster DOWN!:m1helmet:

Just noticed this quote the Pope made:

"We are called to open ourselves to this friendship with God...speaking to him as a friend, the only One who can make the world good and happy...That is all we have to do is put ourselves at his disposal. It is a message that helps to overcome what can be considered the greatest temptation of our time: the claim that, after the Big Bang, God withdrew from history."

Yes, history shows how "good and happy" the world has been when god and religion are at the controls......

This also reminds me of something Christopher Hitchens mentioned in "Why god is Not Great". When one pope dies, and they are trying to pick the next one, at that time, there is no one "infallible" in the Catholic Church. So how could they be sure their choice is the correct one? This could be the wrong superstitious mammal for the job!!!

Actually I read up on the Church's infallibilty, and it now applies to both the Pope and ecclesiastical councils. I imagine the guys squabbling for the top job are temporarily infallible while they do it. Which is handy.
