Gee, that's a tough one. If you weren't a twoofer, you could simply call American Airlines and ask. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way for you to find out for yourself. It's funny how bad choices come back to haunt us.
 
That photo has been posted here before, in this thread.

AMTMAN identified the part number as being AA's P/N for the power supply for emergency lights on a 757 in this post.

While that's not quite the same as tracing the item's serial number to the specific airplane it was originally installed in, it's still very good evidence that what hit the Pentagon was a 757 belonging to AA.

The sad part about my mental deterioration is that I undoubtedly read the thread in question. When I saw the photo on 911myths.com the other day, I thought that it was too good to be true, but I had to post it anyway. It stands to reason that someone else got there first.

Note that our "agnostics," all of whom were outed long ago, are silent. Well, now they have their serial number and it proves that a Boeing 757 hit the Pentagon. We're back to pretending that the FBI is in on it.

The imaginary conspiracy is very swollen. It could burst at any moment..

It is hard to read...I can make out--something something 05537, on the first line.

We'll have to compare. What does the airline say that Flight 77's serial number was?

The top line is likely M005537, but it could be a O or a D. The bottom line is either 1448 or 144B. ANTMAN already IDed it though
