They had their say when the text of the treaty was agreed upon. If they didn't want other member countries to be able to leave unilaterally they should have had that in the treaty instead. Of course they'd then run the risk that the other countries wouldn't actually sign it.So, the EU seems to think it's fine to allow member states to leave without the permission of the rest. Aren't you outraged by this? Such a secession would have an effect on all the other states, surely they should have a say!
