Rush Limbaugh has a heart attack?

Maybe it's a hitherto unknown side effect when a grinch's heart grows three sizes larger at Christmas time.

...nah, probably not. Rush is just too full of darkness, hate, and BS, even if it is Christmas.

Get well soon, you contemptible, despicable S.O.B.

That's about as much goodwill as I can muster for this specimen.

lets just hope it forces him into permanent retirement.. not necessarily death.. but you know.. other stuff.

If Rush Limbaugh dies, every public figure will feel obliged to say a few nice things about him.

Why on Earth would you want that to happen?

Yeah, I quickly added that last part and reconsidered afterward. Instead I hope Limbaugh pulls a Sharon. It will take him off the air immediately; since he won't be dead so people won't feel as obligated to say nice things about him; finally, two or three years down the line, we're told he died, everyone shrugs.

What will it accomplish? Another nut will come along to take his place.

Who wants to wager that Fox News is going to start 24/7 coverage?

In fact, let me check now...

...nope, right now they're talking to Rudy.

Seconded. He doesn't need to be dead; just off the airwaves...

...Mind you, we have no idea of what horror might *follow* him...

i honestly believe that Rush Limbaugh is a dangerous man.

No doubt callers to his program like this must scare the bejesus out of you.

Mass Firings? Withholding Taxes? There is a Revolution Percolating

CALLER: Longtime listener. Listen, I think even though I'd love to talk to you, I want to talk to small business in this country. I think small business could stop this health care dead in its tracks. All we have to do as small business for a short term pain for a long term gain is just shed your payrolls down 50%. Let's overrun the unemployment offices to where they cannot deal with this crisis and let them know that we as small businesses in this country are the ones in charge and without our money they can't do any of this. We are the ones that allow them to do to us what they are doing. If we quit sending our money to these people, they cannot implement these programs. They work for us. We do not work for them. I'm tired. I've run a company for almost 30 years. I'm in the housing market and I manufacture window products. And I can tell you this. I know that everybody this time is hurting, but you know what? For about two weeks we could bring Washington to their knees.

RUSH: Okay, Snerdley, Dawn, Brian, you're fired. Do not come back. You are going on the unemployment line next year. We're going to flood -- (laughing) well this is what it's going to take. Would you do it? If you were an employee would you accept being fired on this principle?

CALLER: Yes. I'm looking at my family and what's going to affect me the next 30 years of my life. What if you don't take a stand for two or three weeks to what's going to affect you for the next 30 years of your life while you're alive?

Limbaugh, 58, suffered from chest pains, sources said. Limbaugh was sitting in a chair in his ninth-floor hotel room at the Kahala when emergency crews arrived, sources said. He told medical crews that he was taking medication for a back problem, sources said.

I wonder if he obtained those painkillers legally? :)

The only thing that scare's me about that particular caller is his idiocy. His plan:
All we have to do as small business for a short term pain for a long term gain is just shed your payrolls down 50%.

That would surely work, since, as we all know, all small businesses have twice as many employees as they need. The caller's plan would put all those businesses out of business. Wait...then the unemployment rolls would increase even more! I'm sorry...it's actually a BRILLIANT plan.

Worse than that, I don't think unemployment compensation could handle it. Not only would we have more unemployed people, we'd have a tidal wave of homeless people who couldn't pay for food.

Fracking brilliant.

What a bunch of miserable scum-suckers several of the liberal posters on this thread are.

While I don't agree with the attitudes of some on this thread towards the suffering of another, I can understand it given Limbaugh's disregard to the suffering of others. Michael J. Fox comes to mind.

So I don't wish death or suffering upon Rush, but perhaps the ill will towards him might give him pause in the future when considering making fun of someone else's disease.
