A couple of years ago I predicted that Romney would win it even though I thought he was an *******. I was given a list of newt, palin, romney, and a couple others. I added michelle bachman to the list. I also said the GOP would pay dearly. I personally am voting for Obama even though I am pretty apathetic about the whole thing. So who you voting for? Oh the guy giving me the list was Tom Cornhole who is famous for something but I don't know what it is.

Someone responded to my post. Apparently they didn't get the memo. Who is Zod and what does he or she want?

I may still vote for Gary Johnson.

Obama is competent and I'm not entirely unhappy with what he's done, or what he plans to do, but he has disappointed in several major areas (e.g., wimping out on Camp Delta, half-hearted attempts at investment banking reform, reneged on a promise to deescalate marijuana criminalization, Fast & Furious, etc.). Surprisingly where I think he's done the best is in foreign policy.

Romney's showing me nothing. His stated policy positions call to mind the worst of George W Bush, and his budget and tax proposals are utter nonsense. He's unlikely to gain any attention from me as he runs ever further to the hard right.

Unfortunately, there is no mainstream candidate with much interest in preserving civil liberties. Both have areas they want to protect and others they don't care about, but it's all tactical rather than principled. The closest there was to a real libertarian was Ron Paul, and he's insane. I voted for Paul before it was cool, by the way, so don't bother sending me any pamphlets.

Leaving me with Gary Johnson. I don't entirely agree with him either, but I think he's far and away the most honest in the field at this point. Too bad nobody's ever heard of him.

I'm voting for my next door neighbor. He'a a total idiot, but I know he'd do at least as well as any of our last half-dozen presidents.

At least he would understand what it is like to have a job and what it means to be a citizen of the US. These guys in office are out of touch with everything except how to line their pockets and get re-elected.

I am voting against Obama. I'm not really voting for anyone, so to speak. As long as people are able to make a life long career out of being a politician, we are always going to have a jackass for president. Nobody deserves any of our votes.

Have a nice day :)
