Rewrite the 10 commandments

To have all evil end we need to be on the same page, we’re not and probably never will be.

Hey, winner. For me, it is not about ending all evil ( and besides, other posters have already addressed that) it is about God keeping His promises. God holding true to His word. God doing what He said He would do. If He can't do the little stuff, then how can we trust Him to follow through on the big stuff (like salvation)?

It’s not about winning it’s just what I think, how I respect God.

I find your response completely baffling. I have yet to see anything in this thread to indicate that the God of the Bible deserves any respect whatsoever.

If you want to continue discussing whether or not God deserves respect, it might be best to do it in a new thread rather than in a joke thread.

On a more respectful note, Edge, are you ready to discuss in another thread why your God deserves respect?

Great. How many amputees' limbs have grown back from people seeing?

Let me see uhmm, the one thing that they didn't document Jesus doing and that's your main gripe?

Why not this; he didn't put man on the moon he never explained the universe other than spiritual.

He never invented a cast for broken bones or explained it; the list can go on forever.

He never explained how a bird’s wing could have lift so we could get the flight thing down earlier in history.

Maybe in his forth year he would have had an opportunity to run into some of the other depravities that surly existed even at that time to satisfy you.

So when eleven guys run off for fear of being crucified and hide in some upper room because they're leader has been captured and killed plus everyone’s pointing fingers at them as they watch from the shadows, the whole idea of Christianity should have died, and they knew that they would also die for a lost cause if they pursued this cause even during the trial?

But instead it lasts for over two thousand years, and to boot they are told by Jesus himself they will die for the cause after the resurrection and have a similar suffering death at the hands of non-believers that they would suffer to death, do you think they or any sane person would go out pushing a false new religion that goes against the status-quo of the Romans and the current belief system which followed what the Pharisees thought was correct which Christianity as taught by Jesus which went pretty much against them and got their leader killed?

Now if it was all-true then I could see them risking they're lives for truth.

I forgot it's not real, Jesus never brought a cat back to life, and so it can't be real!

You seem to have left out the part of the story where their leader came back from the dead and pepped them up. Who would fear death when they had the evidence in front of them of life after death. Unfortunately for us folks all we get are stories.

I thought people were asking for examples of how prayers in current history had resulted in the regrowth of an amputated limb. Not what Jesus may have reportedly done.

I'm not concerned about Jesus doing it 2000 years ago. No way to verify 2000 year old anecdotes and myths.

Why can't your god do it now?

The discussion was about prayers being answered. You said you didn't pray for BS. Do you consider a child's missing limb to be BS?

Pray for it now. Post your results here.

Stop being disingenuous. You understand that we are talking about people who claim that cancer/sciatica/migraines/etc. are cured by prayer every day. We are asking why God cannot or will not cure amputees.

It's been a couple of days now, edge. How many childrens' limbs did god restore after you prayed for them?

Why are you jumping to the conclusion that what you're describing above really happened? Why would you assume that we would believe it really happened?

Because as I stated something that didn't happen would have died off by now, like the belief of Odin.
I was showing you mainly, how illogical your beliefs are.

First thing, I don't know any children with missing limbs, if you do, you try.
Try science.
