Reading Material for Young Critical Thinkers

Anyone able to recommend some reading material for those new to critical thinking, or those wanting to find out a bit more about it. Books or websites are fine. By "new" or "young" I mean in terms of actual experience, not biological age. I'd be grateful for any recommendations for the following groups of persons...

1 - Children

2 - Teens

3 - Adults

My studies have used the Lipman and Sharp books for Philosophy in Schools - Phillip Cam (Australian writer) has followed their model with his books which involve short stories and critical discussion questions to prompt philosophical questioning and discussion.

And, of course, there's the young skeptics site on skeptic.com. Good old Encyclopaedia Brown... there was even a tv series, back in the day (wonder if that will be released to buy?).

I think carl sagan books are great for teenagers and adults to read. Maybe even some bright children. "A demon haunged world" is also a must for anyone interested in skepticism and science and psuedo-science,If they are a skeptic or not.
