As much as I abhor the crime, nearly every line in this movie, including those above, is still funny.

This womans fears do not actually result from the FB page. They result from the threats she's received after speaking out against the FB page. Her problem now isn't with either FB or the "rape" page. Frankly, I am inclined to call her a ninny.

Imagine the desolate wasteland X-Box Live would become if we actually prosecuted all online threats of rape. Why EatMyBallz420 would be serving fifty years in prison all by his lonesome which would be impressive for a 15 year old.

I'm saying that prosecuting all such incidents would be impossible. I think it's terrible and is one of the reasons I don't play video games online. I'd rather not spend my nights with some nasally teenager explaining in detail how they are forcing me to suck their testicles.

Anyways my other point is that this is all part of people using the supposed anonymity of the internet to act like some sort of disgusting psychopath. That Facebook page is symptomatic of that as is the response to those that expressed their opinions that it was in bad taste.

I think so. Or rather, I think it's only a threat when it's credible. The most difficult part would of course be the logistics. Actually tracking down and prosecuting every prank phone call, internet forum member, online video game player, etc., for threatening language would probably rival or exceed the drug war in scale; and most of the suspects would probably be between 9 and 14 years old.
